Middlle East meets Far East with this kimono-style vest featuring fairisle motifs adapted from 13th Century Moorish tile designs. Colour gradations are created by hand dyeing two yarns, see article on previous page. The separately knit bottom band was re-hung and attached to the body pieces. The front bands and armbands are knit vertically with a single-motif fairisle on the right side and a main colour self-facing on the wrong side.
